When Easyfood was founded 10 years ago, it was one of the first to start outsourcing of production to Poland and Bosnia among others. But now it goes the other way and Easyfood get production back to preserve the radical innovation and speed in development.
Easyfood has used outsourcing as an important tool, since the company was established in 2001. Still regret it in the end the decision and put production at its headquarters in Kolding.
Easyfood retrieves production back to Denmark to enhance innovation around the products and secure a high speed relative to launch new products to the market.
"There is absolutely nothing wrong with the quality when we get produced abroad, and we have benefited greatly from our collaboration with our partners in Poland and Bosnia. But it has increasingly become a competitive tool to increase speed of development and get new products out on the shelves - and we do it best at home in Kolding, "notes CEO, Flemming Paasch.
